Revamped

Strawberry Shortcake

Doing my weekly shopping the other day I came across Strawberries from Plant City Fl. which is only a few miles from where I grew up.
There were 2 pints bought and Strawberry Shortcake was requested!

Rinse, Stem and Slice. Place in bowl and toss in about 1/3 cup sugar. Cover and place in refrigerator over night

Bisquick biscuits:
2 1/3 cups Bisquick baking mix
3 Tbsp butter, melted
1/2 cup milk
3 Tbsp sugar

Heat oven to 425°F. Stir baking mix, melted butter, milk, and 3 Tbsp of sugar in a mixing bowl until soft dough forms. Drop by 6 spoonfuls on to a greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden .
Top with whipped cream.

After long thought how to embellish tops of bar stools......
My house at any given time is filled with some talented musician friends and thought I would give them something fun to sit on. There are more in the making coming soon as many are giving me more ideas along with orders for sets of their own.

Growing up in Tampa Florida ,Southern Rock was on my radio station or record player the 70's and his voice was one that was always turned up as it still is.

I just want to tell you Happy Birthday and how proud I am of the woman that you have become. You have accomplished so much in the past 3 years . You glow with determination and you also have been an inspiration to so many. You are about to start your Bachelors degree for Law, Selling Real Estate and taking care of your family. The social butterfly that you are in the community of endless activities that you donate so much time to causes and organizations.
Keep doing what you are doing and never lose that smile because it is worth more than money can buy.
