In the stillness of the woods sits the Brush Rabbit
My current painting

I found the music maker today and attached it to my blog.
Still learning how all this goes together and it has been fun.

Welcome to The Southern Artistic Touch

I have been an artist for over 20 years but have recently been going full force. My mediums are Acrylic and Watercolor.Awards in Tampa area were won in the 1990's and I was commissioned to do paintings .There was a period between then and now that I couldn't pick up the brush, but I'm sure a lot artists go through this.

Four years ago we purchased an 1890's Queen Anne Cottage and we have been renovating and are about 85% complete. The paint brush found it's way into my hand in more ways then one.I was at the point of getting tired of climbing up and down the ladder to paint the 13 ft. ceiling that I had to take a break . So I did ,I started on my first painting in years, my Venice Italy Mural (trompe l'oeil).I was raised in an Italian family and I had to bring a piece Italy to my kitchen.

I will take you through a journey of my work both past and present and to start out....Let me take you to Venice!
